Courtesy listings are owner-to-owner transfers, so Cat Rescue, Inc. cannot attest to health or behavior of these animals.
Cat Rescue Inc. has no control over what these animals adoption terms are as they are decided by the current owner. Cat Rescue, Inc will make every effort to assure that the information we post on courtesy listings is up-to-date and accurate based upon what the current owners tell us.

This sweetheart was wandering the streets of Newport News until a concerned citizen took him in and is fostering him for us. Elliot is a friendly, affectionate boy who is happy to be off of the streets. However, he seems to have paid the price for his 8 months outside. Elliot tested positive for FIV, so he needs a family who understands that this cannot be caught by people or dogs, and only caught by cats if he were to severely bite one. Based on his personality, we do not think that is likely. Elliot has charmed the hearts of the two women who took him under their wing, but neither is in a position to keep him permanently. They have donated their money and time to see him get the chance they feel he so deserves. Please help us "close the loop" and get Elliot his forever home!
